I “LOVE” cookbooks! I especially love cooking in a crock-pot, why? It’s so easy and I don’t have to worry about timing all the elements for dinner. I absolutely love the idea of having dinner going by 11am, pure awesomeness! You could say I’ve started a bit of a collection of cookbooks.
I was given this opportunity to review this ebook, “Slow Cooker Recipes For Beginners”. Even though I’m not a beginner, I’m definitely not an expert (yet). I love new cookbooks, and new recipes, so I was in.
When I first opened the ebook I noticed the brightly colorful cover, which is my featured picture, but as I went on I noticed there are no other pictures. I was kinda bummed, I really like a book that has pictures of what the end result should appear like (or close to, in my case). Even if it’s every other, every 4th recipe, pictures of the featured recipe is always a plus. That’d be only drawback to this book.
They’ve got some great slow cooker recipes though, so don’t let the no-picture comment detour you. Some of my favorites out of the book, that I’m excited to try are:
* Balsamic Almonds – being cautious about weight loss almonds are a great snack and kinda boring by themselves, this would be a great way to add some flavor.
* Easy BBQ Ribs
* Tarragon Chicken
* Mashed Sweet Potatoes
* Cinnamon Apples
For my readers from February 15th – February 17th this Slow Cooker Recipe Book For Beginners ebook will be FREE for download from Amazon.
