I just finished a VoxBox for #RockTheLunchBox campaign by influencer.com.
I received the following items “FREE” for providing my honest opinion.
* Annie’s Homegrown – Frozen Snacks (Pizza Poppers or Mini Pizza Bagels)
* Annie’s Homegrown – Crackers or Cookies
* Honest Kids Juice Box by Honest Tea
* Half Time – Lunchable
* Rudis’s – Organic, Gluten-Free, Soy-Free, Milk-Free Bread
This was so much fun, it was my little version of “Extreme Couponing”. First I went to Safeway and was only able to find, in the freezer section, Rudi’s Cinnamon Raisin Sandwich Bread & Honest Kids Organic Fruit Juice (I bought the Super Fruit Punch).
I did have to go to Fred Meyer (aka: Kroger) to find the rest. There I was able to find the Applegate Half Time Lunchable and Annie’s Friends Bunny Grahams (flavors: Honey/Chocolate/Chocolate Chip). I was unable to find the Annie’s Homegrown Frozen Snacks, but I did see that they do carry full size pizzas in the Freezer Section towards the Natural Food Section.
I got home from picking up the kids from a sleepover at Grandma’s, when they noticed and were interested in testing out what I had in the grocery bag. I gave in and gave them an Honest Kids Organic – Fruit Juice. They loved it!
I also gave them each some of the Annie’s Friends – Bunny Grahams, which was also a hit. Haleigh, my three year old, liked them so much she wanted more. On Sunday we tried some of the Rudi’s Cinnamon Raisin Bread for breakfast and we all loved it. The bread, even after being toasted, was super soft. Wyatt, my 6 year old, said he wants to have this every morning.
Today for lunch Owen, my 5 year old, was the one who go to try the Applegate “Half-Time” Lunchable, which was Turkey Breast and American cheese, Crackers, Fruit Snacks, and a Yo-Kids Yogurt. He loved it, he had himself a little picnic. He’s very excited to go into the First Grade next year, so he can bring his lunch.
I loved all these items, they’re healthy for the kids, and not loaded with sugars. I know with sugar and carbs being such an addictive substance, nutrition and my kid’s health is very important to me.
