Headphones Designed To Protect Kids Hearing

When I received the pair of studio-grade headphones from Puro Sounds Labs the letter stated that “you’ll agree that they’re the best sounding, most comfortable headphones you’ve ever owned”. You know what, they’re absolutely right!

I took them out of the box and charged them right away. Charging may take up to 3 hours. When they’re charging the LED light is red, when the LED light turns blue they’re ready to go. Then I paired it to my Samsung Tablet, by holding the “Bluetooth button” for a few second. It was super easy.

My first reaction to the Puro Sound Labs Children’s Headphones was, WOW!! I know that sounds super cheesy, but I really was amazed. Placing the ear cups over my ears was comfortable, the outside noise was softened, and these wireless headphones have an 82% Ambient Noise Attenuation. I was so impressed that I immediately went over to my husband, Todd, for him to experience the quality as well. We both were blown away at the sound quality in “children’s” headphones.

I enjoy music. I love loud concerts. I love having my “mommytime” at the gym or out running where I have my iPod playing my favorite playlist at a level that probably isn’t good for my ears. The clarity of these Puro Studio Grade Kids Wireless Headphones are simply amazing, they’re soft, comfortable, and stylish. I love that they’re designed with Bluetooth technology, so you don’t have to worry about dangling, annoying, cords.

As a parent, I like that they’re specifically designed for kids with volume-limiting ear protection. I know when I was a teenager listening to my Sony Discman volume control wasn’t something anyone talked about.

The experts say this:
“As many as 16 percent of teens (ages 12 to 19) have reported some hearing loss that could have caused by loud noise.” – NIDCD (National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders)

Puro Sound Labs on their website, shows that 85db are known to cause hearing loss over time.

Knowing that the headphones are volume-limiting I’m able to let the kids listen without worry. I was excited to have the kids try them and see what they thought. They didn’t have much to say since they’re little, but their reactions said it all. For Owen, he’s 5, we played his favorite dance song, Get Low by: Dillon Francis and DJ Snake, he asked to hear it over and over again. He didn’t want to stop, but was forced due to a pressing meeting held in his room called bedtime.

Earlier we let Haleigh watch, “Sofia the First” on the tablet, and she loved that she could watch anywhere in the house. All smiles!

You can use these studio-grade Kids Wireless Headphones for:
• Music Use
• Phone Use
• Wired Use, if the battery has died or no Bluetooth connection is available.

I really cannot say enough about the sound quality!! What comes to mind is a high-end, expensive, speaker system. With The Puro Sound Labs Children Headphones you get a high quality listening experience, protection for your kids hearing, at an inexpensive cost for studio-grade headphones that will last for years.

I received an email asking if I wanted to try those. I responded that I would love to, and they never got back to me! I figured it was just a scam. Now I wonder why they never emailed me back 🙁

I’m glad you liked them! 🙂

This is good to know about since we live in a world where kids and teenagers seem to constantly have headphones or earbuds glued to their ears… I worry about my husbands teenagers sometimes and what they’re doing to their hearing with those things! At least we can try to protect the little ones’ ears if nothing else!

  4. The Sony Discman…memories! My son loves to listen to music and is currently into everything dubstep and he plays it really loud. I won’t feel so guilty telling him to wear headphones since these are specifically made for kids. Sounds like a really good product. I could’ve used this when I was a kid blasting Pearl Jam and LL Cool J on my discman. One of those products that makes you ask “what took them so long to come up with this!”

    • Oh my gosh Yanique, me too.. LL Cool J’s “Goin’ Back To Cali” was my favorite to turn up real loud.. I’ll even admit to listening to some Vanilla Ice, Milli Vanilli, Paula Abdul, and Janet Jackson…

I bet my kids would love these. Well, I would love them for them due to the protection of their ears. I must admit when I am exercising I sometimes have my music up louder than usual so this may benefit me also. Thanks for sharing this review.
