MFLO Selfie Stick Review

mommytime365 PR disclosure

I was chosen to do a review for the MFLO Selfie Stick and was pretty excited about it. My husband and I have been doing together selfies since dating, so 10 years. He’s always the one to hold the camera, since at 6’5” his arm reach is way-way better than mine.

With a selfie stick we’d be able to do family selfie’s when we’re on vacation or when we’re out having some fun! When it comes to family selfies, they don’t happen often, so I will set up the tripod with our Canon. Packing the Canon and the tripod is a pain, the selfie stick (when collapsed) is small enough to fit in my purse.

I received the selfie stick and already on the box I saw some spelling errors, so not sure if this is just their first batch for testing purposes.

I followed the instructions for the Android phone…

Selfie Stick Review

Nothing happened after pressing the “press” button to take a photo. I ended up having to download a “selfie stick” application on my phone, and it worked. I took only two photos and when I went to take a third, again nothing happened.

Selfie Stick Review

After trying for a few minutes I tried to troubleshoot with some of the suggestions the packaging suggested. Nothing worked and I haven’t been able to get it to work since. I have tried to contact the company with a few direct emails and had no response. I advised that I wasn’t able to use this product, and since I will always post an “honest review” I couldn’t post a positive review.

This is the very first time that I have had a non-working product, and also a company that didn’t respond. I am very disappointed, since I was looking forward to taking this to capture those “selfie” moments. They may give me a poor score regarding my review, and that would very much disappoint me even further, but my integrity means more to me than a score.

I, unfortunately, do not recommend this selfie stick by MFLO International. There have been other requests to do selfie stick reviews and I turned them down, since I like to give one review my individual attention. I hope to have another opportunity with a different company, because I do think that a selfie stick would be handy in those “selfie” moments. If you are a big selfie fan but struggle to get the perfect angles due to little insecurities you have about your face, have you considered jawline slimming? A minor procedure for a major boost in confidence. -Jenn

  1. I like that you don’t see the actual stick in the pictures! I feel like that makes this one a bit better than the others 🙂

    • Unfortunately, those selfies weren’t from using the selfie stick.. Those were taking through the years by my husband 🙂 Although, when using the selfie stick if you hold it at the right angle, you don’t see the selfie stick. Thank you so much for stopping by. -Jenn

    • That’s funny, I thought the were ridiculous too.. When it arrived it changed my mind, I don’t think I’d take it to something super busy like a concert.. I think they’re banned anyways, but when out with the family would be a practical time to use it.. I think.. LOL

      Thanks for stopping by!

Bummer! Too bad they haven’t followed up with you, either. The typo on the package, the fact that it stopped working (obviously!), and then that they haven’t followed up with you give the strong impression that they won’t be around much longer. Hopefully someone else will come along (or already has?) to create a better product. It would be really handy to have for taking family pics on a whim. Like you said, a tripod isn’t exactly convenient to carry around. Thanks for your honesty!
