Le Garcon Grooming Pomade For Men (and Women too) Review
I mainly was interested in this product review for Le Garcon Grooming Pomade for men, because my husband uses only Axe products. Every once in awhile he’ll use Tea Tree Oil, but I’m not a big fan of that scent. I have to admit that the Axe products are a good product, but wanted my husband to venture out. To see if there was something better, and “ahem-ahem” the wife is right… (yes, insert happy dance)
Now, don’t let the masculine look of this label fool you! This is not only great on men’s hair, it’s great for the ladies! I used this on my little girl. After she gets out of the bath I put some in the palm of my hand and scrunch her curls, and her curls last all day. No matter how many times she takes her hair up in a ponytail and back down the curls kept! I also used it on my hair. I part my hair over to the side and usually I have to pin it back to keep out of my eyes. With Le Garcon Pomade I was able to use just the a fingernail worth of pomade to keep it in place.
I really like the scent, it’s hard to describe. This is where a scratch and sniff would be handy, it’s not too masculine. I actually think it’s really soft. It looks like rootbeer but comes out clear, not tinted like it looks in the jar.
It’s not like other pomade I’ve used before, where it can be tacky. This is more like a gel, not sticky and doesn’t clump. Your hair is still manageable with the product in your hair, and it’s easy to wash out.
Le Garcon Pomade is a great pomade, I would suggest trying this out!

I’m always looking for new hair products to try, especially a gel that keeps curls in tact. Sounds like a good product.

This sounds like a great product, I’m always looking for something that keeps hair in place without being sticky.

This feels sticky when you scoop it out, but it doesn’t make your hair sticky.
Thanks!
My husband uses pomade sometimes. I hadn’t thought of using it myself. I’m going to give this a try.

You should, pomade helps with smoothing out those fly’aways.
Thanks Jenn
I’ll have to give this product a try, it’s always nice to see reviews on products before purchasing them, thanks!

This sounds like great stuff. I wonder if I could use it instead of hairspray. I make my own shampoo and rinses (trying to be more natural) but I still use hairspray. I have to have something to keep my hair in place.

Hi Mama Carmody!!
I usually use hairspray to hold my bangs over, but this actually worked without using any hairspray!
Thanks, Jenn
At first I did think this product was targeted towards men, however, it sounds like something I could do with especially if it keeps curls in all day! Is this available in the UK??

Thanks Ronda!
I love a good hair product. Especially one that is versatile. Where did you find this this product?
Hi Thomasina,
I found it on Amazon.com, the link is on the blog. If you’ve got an Amazon Prime account, it’s Prime eligible.
Thanks,

I can use a product like this at home. My husband is the gel king. We’re always using hair product to keep fly aways at bay for our 2 girls. Sounds like a great product. Thanks for recommending.
Thanks Theresa!
Thanks for the review. I have curly hair and have a hard time finding the perfect product to keep from frizzing. Maybe I will give this a try.

Ok, I love this product, my husband needs some new pomade, and father’s day is next week. How perfect! I also love Ax but it’s a bit strong smelling, which a 30 plus year old man does not need.
Hi Randi,
I usually get ready first, because after my husband sprays Ax it lingers forever!
Thanks Jenn
I know a few guys who would love this stuff! I’ll have to let them know about it.
thanks!

Seems like a really good hair pomade. I’m always looking for new products to try.
Hi Adrienne,
Me too, I love trying new products.
Thanks, Jenn
I agree with the scratch and sniff! I wish some things had them, lol. I wonder if this would work well in my daughters *curly* hair. I need something that doesn’t feel like a gel but also holds her curls!

Hi Brittany!
This works great without having that heavy gel feeling.
Have a great day!

I don’t think this would work for me, but it might work well in my daughter’s hair. May give it a try.
