I did not set a New Years Resolution for myself this year, mainly because I’m disappointed in myself a week later because I’ve fallen off the goal-wagon. So, I’m going to set monthly goals, little changes towards a “smaller” me.
I have to do this, my excuses are getting old, and I’m beginning to be annoyed with myself. I am going to admit something, it hit me like a ton of bricks this weekend, I am addicted to sugar and carbs. It’s so bad, I am going to try and do 2 things this month.. I’m super excited to start with something not too difficult, so here’s my pitch:
I have a Fitbit, which I love and I highly recommend them. I had the Force, but returned it, I am in love with their new collection that just came out. I’ll post a link below, so you can take a peek as to what they have to offer. (*please note there are other colors available than just what is previewed)
Not only is Fitbit a great gadget, but you can sync it to your phone and computer. They’ve got a great community, which I have this challenge posted on my “Mom’s on Fitbit” group. Take a peek and if you’re already a Fitbit member please feel free to join us!
* Get more steps in a day, day by day I’ll try to beat the day before steps! I’m not putting a number out there at the gate.. I am taking it day-by-day!
* I am going to “try” to cut out sugar, it’s going to be painful but I have to… I’m not getting any younger, 40 is approaching and genetics are not going to help me…
